EDITORS’ NOTES: I haven't yet measured the distance between heaven and heck. The road I've been on... sometimes it stretches long and lush, live with the spirit of the radio, windows down, listening to Rush. It has been harsh and blindsided me too. I've seen Wintertime's in Summertime. Sharp-Lefts, Hairpin Rights. Oil spills. Electric hills. All the ways, more often than not via the unexpected tricky-routes, there's been a lesson. A memory. A log-book. Still awaiting the invention of time-travel pills, meandering thoughts of what I'd do if I could whisper words of wisdom to a more youthful version, it's that we should probably read the directions, but also not to forget the mission... which is to follow your own intuition. Each journey is yours. Me, though... no matter how many miles are on the clock now, I realise it's the full collection of stories which makes my smile mine. Forget your postcode, it's what's under the bonnet that matters.
